pottery wheel course
with vasco baltazar and ALBERTO AZEVEDO
New tableware for your Home
Have you ever thought you would like to have your morning coffee in a cup you made yourself? Make your crockery? You can start by participating in this initiation course to work on the potter's wheel.
Five and half days of intensive learning in a small group (up to 6 students), supported step by step by Vasco and Alberto.
Five days of working on the wheel, learning how to prepare and center the clay, and pulling various shapes of bowls and bowls, cups, and mugs. You can also venture out to make more demanding pieces like teapots or vases. Your pieces will be glazed and fired in an electric kiln to take home at the end of the course.
Take a sneak peek at Vasco’s work here and Alberto’s project here.
